The time is ripe to uplevel your security operations. Now, you can easily implement a security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) solution into your IT environment; achieve a greater understanding of your organization’s maturity level; and discover how your security program plugs into a SOAR maturity model. Ideally, this will establish a phased approach to security automation and orchestration, and a clear starting point for SOAR implementation.

By defining the different phases of the maturity curve, you’ll be able to identify the use cases, playbooks and workflows most relevant to your security needs. This will provide a better understanding of your security roadmap, and — better yet — how to reap the rewards of SOAR. In this white paper, we’ll walk you through each stage of your SOAR journey, and help you realize your organization’s readiness for SOAR adoption and implementation, so you can see a return on your investment sooner rather than later.

SOAR adoption

SOAR technology helps security teams solve their biggest pain points through automation and orchestration. In the SANS 2022 SOC Survey, 235 respondents were polled on the key challenges they faced when trying to maximize the full power of their security operations center (SOC).

In this same survey, SOAR was ranked fourth (out of 45 other SOC technologies) stuck in the early planning stages of deployment. Currently, the vast majority of buyers have invested in a SOAR solution but have yet to implement it; are currently implementing SOAR; or are still in partial production mode.
